NASHVILLE, TN — The wait for country rock band Parmalee’s music video for the party anthem, “Musta Had a Good Time,” is finally over. On Wednesday, August 29th AOL’s The Boot will world premierethe official concept video at 11 am ET.

Directed by Wes Edwards (Jason Aldean, Thompson Square) the video was shot at an infamous party house only a few miles from Music Row in Nashville, TN. The set, which boasts a cast of over 70 extras – including several professional stunt performers – was originally meant to only embody the lyrics of the song – but turned into it’s own creature as the night wore on.

“It was pretty overwhelming. You couldn't look anywhere and not see something totally ridiculous,” says Parmalee guitar player Josh McSwain. “The video shoot was only supposed to look like the party described in the song but at some point the shoot actually BECAME the party. We even got kicked out of the house we were shooting in!”

“None of our friends back home will be surprised at what they see in the video,” says lead singer Matt Thomas. “In fact they'll be mad that they weren't in it!”

Country Rock foursome Parmalee is essentially a family band comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/ guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and life-long best friend Josh McSwain (guitar).

Influenced by such musical heavyweights as the Allman Brothers, Travis Tritt and Bob Seger, the band’s name is derived from the small town of Parmele, NC (population 262), which is home to a gas station, two blinking yellow lights and a small tin-roofed barn dubbed Studio B where the band practiced on every given evening.

Cutting their teeth on the Southeastern touring circuit and known for their fun-loving live shows, the members of Parmalee endured a tumultuous journey to Nashville which included dangerous pit stops, catastrophic weather and a near-fatal robbery that would have torn most bands apart. Instead, Parmalee’s deep Country roots, intense motivation, and band-of-brothers sense of dedication brought the tight-knit crew even closer together.

Now signed to Stoney Creek Records – whose roster includes Grammy-nominees and 2012 ACM Vocal Duo of the Year Thompson Square as well as ACM & CMA nominee Randy Houser – Parmalee’s brand of music has met the Country format at time when Jason Aldean and Eric Church have helped to bring Country Rock to the forefront of popular Country music.
