(NASHVILLE, TN) – BBR Music Group/BMG announced today the signing of Jimmie Allen as the latest addition to its roster of artists.
A Delaware native, Allen has toured the world playing his music for the U.S. Armed Services and their families. This summer and fall he will open dates for Toby Keith’s Interstates and Tailgates Tour. Additionally Allen co-wrote a song featured in a Super Bowl commercial. Known for fresh vocal delivery and an uncanny sense of melody, Allen is currently in the studio with producers Ash Bowers and Eric Torres finishing tracks that reflect his love of country music.

“I knew absolutely nothing about Jimmie or his music when I randomly ended up on a writers round with him at Puckett’s in Franklin, TN,” said Ash Bowers, Wide Open Music. “The first song he played that night was a song called ‘Back Of Your Mind,’ and half way through the first chorus I knew he was a star and someone I wanted to work with. We are thrilled to see him sign with BBR Music Group who is as equally as excited about his music as we are.”
Allen is booked by United Talent Agency. He is a SESAC songwriter and is signed to Wide Open Music for management and publishing.
