JACKIE LEE LANDS COVER OF NASHVILLE LIFESTYLES FEBRUARY 2015 ISSUE
Billboard and Rolling Stone Country Proclaim Rising Star “One To Watch in 2015”
Debut Single “She Does” Earns Rave Reviews From Popdust, Taste Of Country
(NASHVILLE, TN)— Broken Bow Records power vocalist Jackie Lee is featured front and center on the new cover of Nashville Lifestyles as one of the magazine’s 2015 “Most Eligible Singles” in Music City, USA.
Lee was chosen alongside sixteen Nashville-based tastemakers and young professionals for the annual issue. A true funnyman at heart, in his profile, Lee describes his dating deal breakers to be “those without a sense of humor—and girls who leave the seat down.”
“Just living in the eclectic city of Nashville has always been what I wanted for my life. To be on the cover of Nashville Lifestyles, a magazine that tells people how great this city is, makes me one of the happiest people to live here! It’s truly an honor,” says Lee.
Jackie Lee will be celebrating with Nashville Lifestyles at its annual “Single In the City” event taking place at The Rosewall in Nashville on Tuesday, Feb. 17 @ 7:00pm. For additional information and to purchase tickets to the event, visit: http://bit.ly/17Zagki (#SITC15)

The 23-year old Tennessee native has also captured the attention of media heavyweights Billboard and Rolling Stone Country.
Billboard recently highlighted Lee as one of “10 Hot Country Artists To Watch In 2015,” declaring that the soulful troubadour “has every key ingredient that you can imagine in a star-to-be: a great voice, charisma to spare, and great material to choose from, such as his current Broken Bow release ‘She Does.’”

Rolling Stone Country also chimed in naming Lee one of its “10 Country Artists You Need To Know” for Winter 2015 and proclaiming the rising star “possesses the kind of voice that makes you want to lean in and listen: strong with a touch of smooth southern soul and a feathery falsetto underscoring his country twang.”

Lee’s most-added debut single, “She Does,” has earned plenty of critical acclaim as it continues its ascent on the U.S. Country radio charts, with Taste of Country calling it “a country love song that stands out from so many others on the radio” and Popdust describing it as “one of Country’s finest offerings.” Listen/Purchase Jackie Lee’s debut single “She Does” on iTunes here: http://smarturl.it/shedoes For more information visit http://www.jackielee.com.
About Jackie Lee:
Country vocal stylist Jackie Lee was only six years old when he stepped into a professional recording studio to cut songs with famed country songwriter, musician and producer Carson Chamberlain (Keith Whitley/ Easton Corbin). Sixteen years later, Chamberlain is hard at work in the studio producing Jackie’s debut album – his first as a Broken Bow recording artist.
Influenced by classic country singers like Faron Young and Keith Whitley as well as popular music icons like Michael McDonald, Bob Seger – and even Justin Timberlake – Jackie has carved out a distinctive style that lends his big, soulful vocals to both arena-ready country rockers like “Show You Around” as well as to the tenderest of love songs such as the lovelorn and riveting “First Girl.” His debut single for Broken Bow Records, “She Does,” became the Most-Added Country song in the U.S. upon release. “She Does” captures the refined and distinctive style of Lee’s bold, soulful vocals. Written by Neil Thrasher and Kelley Lovelace, the song is an honest reflection of a give-and-take relationship with a girl whose smile makes it hard to disagree.
Jackie’s versatility as a musician and vocalist may come as a surprise from the 22-year-old Maryville, TN native. At once unassuming and charismatic, Jackie was a celebrated high school athlete who played baseball, basketball and helped the Alcoa High School football team win two state championship rings. In fact the rising star, whose first love was the drums before taking up guitar and piano, turned down the chance to spend two more years playing center to future Green Bay Packer Randall Cobb to pursue his dreams of a musical career.
Jackie’s music is as accessible as the artist himself, a man with an easy laugh, an engaging manner and an optimistic outlook on life:
“I never knew my papaw,” he says, “but my dad talks about him all the time. He used to say, ‘It doesn’t cost a bit more to dream big than to dream little. People on my team tell me, ‘You need to get your expectations right, but I say, ‘I’ll let you guys do that.’ I’m going to reach for the stars.”
