Eden to Throw Virtual Release Party on Zoom TONIGHT at 7pm CT

Brooke Eden today releases her first new music in four years with her light-hearted track “No Shade.” With her versatile signature vocal swagger on full display, Eden shares this song as part one of her reintroduction. After four years of finding love and acceptance that inspired her music both sonically and lyrically, her three-part reintroduction was penned from the heart and all produced by Jesse Frasure (Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Marshmello, Meghan Trainor, and more).

Teased yesterday with a ‘First Listen’ on American Songwriter, “No Shade” gives a perfect peek into her life now and her outlook of throwing no shade or judgment on people who aren’t seeing the same hue. Listen HERE. To celebrate the occasion, Eden is throwing a virtual “No Shade” release party on Zoom TONIGHT at 7pm CT. Sign up here to receive more info and join the party! On Monday, Eden is set to premiere her “No Shade” lyric video on YouTube at 5pm CT with an official music video (filmed in her hometown of West Palm Beach, FL) to come soon after!

“‘No Shade’ is about coming out of a dark place – in this case, a bad relationship – and finding your light again as the best version of yourself,” says Eden. “It’s also a no-judgment zone. Taking responsibility for where we’ve come from and where we’re going with no shade thrown to the past, because it got you to where you are now.”

The new song “No Shade,” written with Steven Lee Olsen and Brandon Day, reintroduces Eden with a clever play on a break-up song. Though more than that, it’s the story of a woman rediscovering herself after spending years in a situation that stifled who she was and who she wanted to be. “Nobody going to steal my sunshine or turn my blue sky grey / All I know is at the end of the day wildflowers grow when there ain’t no shade,” Eden sings, and you can hear the two meanings at work in her powerhouse vocal.

Eden wrote the new music in the years since her 2016 release of Welcome to the Weekend amongst a season of profound personal and professional growth. Hear more about her journey HERE.
