(NASHVILLE, TN) – Twenty-one year-oldRED BOW RECORDS artist Chase Bryant made an impressive debut at Country Radio this week when his inaugural single “Take It On Back” became the #3 most added Country song in the U.S. – behind only new songs from established superstars Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line.

The Orange Grove, TX native – whose musical lineage includes a grandfather who played piano for legends Roy Orbison and Waylon Jennings as well as uncles who co-founded the chart-topping band Ricochet – earned 37 first week adds from coast-to-coast.

Lauded by Taste of Country for its “crashing guitars” as well as Bryant’s ability to “hit just the right twangy notes,” the single was co-written by the young artist along with songwriting stalwarts Tommy Lee James and Dylan Altman.

Additionally Bryant, who is featured on Country Weekly magazine’s “The Hit List” this week, co-produced “Take It On Back” alongside Derek George (Randy Houser).

“There are no words for me to even begin to express how life-changing my first week at radio has been. My grandpa always said you will suck at being anyone, but yourself. This is me being me, and thank you to Country Radio, and to Country fans for making that all possible. So much love,” says Bryant.

Bryant has received early praise from tastemakers such as Rolling Stone Country – who called him “One of the Best Things We Saw at CMA Music Fest 2014” – for his high-energy live shows, his six-string prowess and his music that is “straddling the generations.”

This year, Bryant will bring that live show to thousands as he tours the country while part of Brantley Gilbert’s Let It Ride Tour, which kicks off in Austin, TX on Sept. 19th.
