HONORED AS ONE OF CRS’ NEW FACES CLASS OF 2023, DON’T MISS RAY ON TOUR WITH OLD DOMINION
CMT Listen Up Artist and Pandora Country Artist to Watch Frank Ray is the most-added at Country radio this week with his newest single “Somebody Else’s Whiskey” from his label-debut EP Getcha Some. Listen to the Billboard-approved “kiss-off song” HERE.
Announcing the new single at Country Radio Seminar during his New Faces set, the Stoney Creek Records’ “smooth-voiced crooner” (Billboard) immediately had the audience on their feet, with electrifying performances of his new single “Somebody Else’s Whiskey,” “Tequila Mockingbird” and “Y’all Showed Up,” followed by the effortless “Country’d Look Good on You” and the anthemic “Streetlights,” which showed off his roots, as he mixed in verses of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito.” Ultimately earning the night’s first standing ovation, Ray’s star shined bright as he received praise from Billboard, American Songwriter, Country Now and more.
“The energetic Ray followed with his new single…the kiss-off song “Somebody Else’s Whiskey.”
“a high-energy, engaging performer who moved with ease from start to finish…Ray demonstrated his true star power…Ray is a breath of fresh air in country music, and that was on full display during his set.”
– American Songwriter
“He set the bar high as he kicked things off…Ray’s set wouldn’t have been complete without a bit of Latin flair to celebrate his Hispanic roots that have been showcased throughout his career as a country star.” – Country Now
Recently profiled on CMT, the Texas chart-topper and bilingual recording artist just launched his First Responder Mental Health Campaign. Coined as “FRAY,” it stands for First Responders MentAl ClaritY. Born as a result of Ray’s visit to Washington D.C. with the Metropolitan Police Academy that was originally planned to be a simple visit with short remarks, quickly became a cause-related vision. As a former officer who served over ten years, no one better understands the trials and tribulations first responders endure. Using music as an escape, Ray is proud to bring FRAY to as many tour stops and communities as possible while he is out on the road with Old Dominion this year and beyond, vowing to leave law enforcement agencies better than when he arrived and with the tools and resources needed to assist them during their times of need.
