GRAND OLE OPRY STARS DAILEY & VINCENT LET THEIR SIGNATURE HARMONIES SHINE ON VIDEO FOR “THOSE MEMORIES OF YOU”

Joined By Award-Winning Bluegrass Artist Rhonda Vincent

Grand Ole Opry stars and GRAMMY® Award-nominees Dailey & Vincent let their signature harmonies take the spotlight in the video for their rendition of country classic “Those Memories Of You,” available now. First made famous by Bill and James Monroe in 1978, then again by Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt in 1987, Dailey & Vincent included the tune on their latest album release, Let’s Sing Some Country!, out now. Joined by award-winning bluegrass artist Rhonda Vincent, who’s also featured in the video, the song has been a standout for the duo at shows for years.

“Those Memories has been one of my favorites songs since I was a kid,” Dailey & Vincent’s Jamie Dailey told Bluegrass Situation. “Recording this gem took me back to some wonderful times as a child. Having Rhonda Vincent harmonize with us on this song made it even more special to us!”

“‘Those Memories’ has always been an iconic song since Bill and his son James Monroe recorded it in 1978… Then in 1987, it reached the #5 spot on Billboard as a single for Dolly, Emmylou, and Linda,” added duo counterpart Darrin Vincent. “We’re so pleased Rhonda joined Jamie and myself with our updated take on the tune.”

The video for “Those Memories of You” was shot in Nashville, Tenn. by Tyler Vandervort of Vandervort Media.

5x GRAMMY® Award winners individually, 3x GRAMMY® Award nominees collectively, 4x GMA DOVE Award winners and 35x IBMA Award winners together, the pair found the move into the country genre with Let’s Sing Some Country! a seamless and natural progression. Produced by Paul Worley (Lady A, The Chicks, Trace Adkins), the renowned duo focused their creative efforts on making the country record that they’ve always wanted to make – and it was embraced by industry and fans alike. Joined on the project by Jimmy Fortune, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, and more, Let’s Sing Some Country! was lauded by press. “The album is a testament to the shared musical modalities between country and bluegrass, leaning heavily on the duo’s bluegrass stylings and airtight harmonies,” praised Billboard, while Saving Country Music stated Dailey & Vincent “…freshens things up by releasing this country record to favorable results.”
