Multi-hyphenate talent Alexander Ludwig performed his “rowdy up-tempo with an anthemic feel” (Country Swag) “Faded On You” on ABC’s Good Morning America over the holidays (12/29). Featured on his debut album Highway 99 that released earlier this year, the Country up-and-comer’s star-making performance was unlike anything fans have ever seen from the multi-faceted actor/singer/songwriter. “If my album could be summed up in a song, it would be ‘Faded On Me,’” explains Ludwig. “As a kid, my parents taught me to roll with the punches, and this song is all about that. Taking whatever life throws your way and throwing it right back.” Watch HERE.
“…Meshing the best of Aldean, Chesney, and other influences into an album full of stadium-ready anthems…” (Country Swag), Ludwig “…simply wants to tell more stories on his own terms” (E! News), and his debut album Highway 99 does just that, stacking it with “a nostalgic, early 2000s charm” (Nashville Lifestyles). Featuring 16 tracks – six co-written by Ludwig – the spirited but personal project mixes universal stories about small towns, wild nights, broken hearts, and big dreams with amplified guitars, climactic choruses, and heartfelt hooks. A follow up to his 2021 self-titled EP, Highway 99 was produced by Kurt Allison and Tully Kennedy and perfectly illustrates the star’s natural ability to fuse Country storytelling with Rock-N-Roll energy.
