JASON ALDEAN MAKES HISTORY AS FIRST COUNTRY ARTIST EVER TO PLAY THE ICONIC FENWAY PARK
Nashville, TN – July 12, 2013 – MULTI-PLATINUM entertainer Jason Aldean headlined the first-ever country show at Boston’s iconic Fenway Park tonight to a sold out crowd and will bring his high-energy set back to the stadium again tomorrow for the second consecutive sold out show. The first show sold out in a record-setting seven minutes last fall prompting the addition of a second show which blew through every ticket in just 45 minutes. Both nights feature special guests Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.
“Boston is my kinda town,” said Aldean. “There were fans in the streets partying all day, so they were ready when we hit the stage, and they just never let up…so neither did we! This was a huge night in my career and I think a big night for country music fans too…we were able to write some new history together here in Boston tonight.”
The 2013 NIGHT TRAIN TOUR has sold out every show so far this year and continues next week at Wrigley Field in Chicago (7/20).
