The Band Will Embark on Zac Brown Band’s
“From the Fire Tour” this Summer
“One of Country music’s fastest rising bands” (The Late Late Show with James Corden) King Calaway today debuts their new music video for “I’m Feelin’ Good (Steve Miller Band)” via CMT world premiere. Fans can also watch the music video on Paramount’s NYC Times Square billboard today at noon/ET and 5:00pm/ ET. Watch HERE.
The video, directed and produced by Ben Smallbone and Andrea Royer of Radiate Films, shot while on tour with Dustin Lynch, cuts between on-stage and behind the scenes footage giving fans access to the unique bond shared between the members as well as a taste of the energy the band brings every time they walk on stage. “With a drink in my hand, singing “rockin’ me baby,” the “I’m Feelin’ Good” tribute transports you back to the best times, the best memories, and the best soundtrack for making more of both.
”When watching the music video I hope that people feel the same excitement we feel at our live shows. I think it captures the energy of what’s happening between the crowd and the band on stage and how much fun that is for all of us,” said King Calaway guitarist Caleb Miller.
The music video release follows their televised performance of Steve Miller Band’s “Jet Airliner,” between King Calaway and Steve Miller Band at New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash, broadcast by CBS on New Year’s Eve. Watch HERE.
Named one of the seven new Country acts to watch out for by Billboard, King Calaway recorded their Steve Miller ode – written by Wendell Mobley, Chris Stevens, Neil Thrasher – at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Studio in Nashville, and it is just a taste of even more Zac Brown-produced new music coming soon.
In an exclusive People interview, Zac Brown shared: “I recognized the talent this young group has and when we started working in the studio so much more unfolded, and I believe in these guys…Lots to come from King Calaway.” Brown’s relationship with the band has continued to grow, coming full circle with King Calaway embarking on Zac Brown Band’s “From the Fire Tour” this summer.
