Today, rising Country artist making a splash in Nashville and beyond, LANIE GARDNER,  announces her highly anticipated debut album A Songwriter’s Diary, out October 25 via  BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville. This 10-track collection, penned entirely by Gardner, offers a deeply personal glimpse into her journey as an artist — serving as both a reflective journal and an introduction to her musical identity.

In celebration of the album’s upcoming release, Gardner unveils her new song, “Somewhere, Nowhere in Carolina” today. This soulful track captures the essence of her experience in the music industry, exploring feelings of disconnection and longing for home. “I was defeated and wanted nothing more than to be ‘somewhere’ back home and ‘nowhere’ in my career,” Gardner shared about her inspiration. Through this song, she found her authentic self again, stating, “Today, I write songs for my fans, my friends, and my family who pulled me through such a dark time. But that day… I wrote a song for me.”

In response to the recent natural disaster, the Burnsville, NC native has spearheaded a food and necessities drive in Nashville with donations scheduled to be delivered to her hometown and surrounding areas on Saturday, October 5.

After her cover of “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac went viral with over 55 million views, Gardner realized she wanted a chance to introduce herself to fans with her own music and connect on a more intimate level. Featuring previously released tracks, “Lord Knows” and “Mountains and Miller,” A Songwriter’s Diary, offers a poignant look at Gardner’s personal journey and artistic evolution, emphasizing the significance of her early work and the foundation from which she came from. Her fans will recognize the sentiment behind the title, inspired by her Instagram series of the same name.

With a captivating blend of classic rock, soulful delivery, and country influences, Gardner has carved a unique niche through her music. From her roots in the mountains of North Carolina to international stages, she consistently showcases her exceptional talent and determination. Inspired by her late grandfather’s love for music, she has evolved from a gifted storyteller to a celebrated artist. Her impressive collaborations with industry icons like David Guetta and MORTEN and her feature on the Twisters soundtrack alongside Luke Combs and Lainey Wilson highlight her rising star, further solidified by her recent recording contract with BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and publishing deal with Big Machine Music.

Lanie’s journey is marked by significant milestones, including her performance at this year’s CMA Fest and tours with major acts like Jelly Roll and ZZ Ward. These experiences have not only highlighted her captivating stage presence but also strengthened her bond with a passionate, devoted fanbase, further solidified by her recent addition to the 2025 Stagecoach lineup, where she will perform alongside headliners Jelly Roll, Zach Bryan, and Luke Combs.

As she continues to rise, Lanie remains a genre-defying artist dedicated to making a positive impact through her music. Her story is one of love, passion, and dreams—promising many more unforgettable melodies, memories, and milestones ahead.
