Nashville, TN (April 5, 2017) – Fans and critics alike have confirmed rising star Lindsay Ell’s EP was indeed ‘Worth The Wait’ as it debuted at No. 8 on the Nielsen Soundscan Current Country Albums Chart this week, an incredible accolade for a digital-only EP. WORTH THE WAIT marks Ell’s first U.S. EP release.
Additionally,WORTH THE WAIT becomes one of just two digital-only EPs by a female artist to debut in the Top 10 on the Nielsen Soundscan Current Country Albums Chart since 2015. The six-song biographical project was released via Stoney Creek Records and produced by GRAMMY winner Kristian Bush of Sugarland.

Later in the EP, AXS.com praises Ell’s reimagination of John Mayer’s “Stop This Train” raving, “She does so with intimacy and unshakeable anguish. Ell’s star shined brightly this Sunday (4/2) as she dazzled audiences of the 2017 ACM Red Carpet Live, co-hosting the Xfinity from Comcast Stage alongside label mate Chase Bryant. Produced by dick clark productions, it was the OFFICIAL red carpet pre-show of the ACM Awards, drawing 3.1 MILLION unique viewers over the two-hour live stream.
Stunning in a beaded black gown by Sherri Hill paired with Steve Madden heels, the young star’s red carpet fashion was recognized among several “Best Dressed” lists including Hollywood Life and CMT.com as well as being highlighted in arrival galleries by CBS News, Eonline.com, People.com and many more.
