NASHVILLE – July 25, 2013 – Thompson Square’s brand new video “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About” premiered today exclusively across CMT, CMT.com, CMT Pure and CMT Mobile.

Directed by Chris Hicky, the video allowed the duo to show off the carefree, fun-loving energy that have captivated fans at Thompson Square’s live shows and earned then both ACM and CMA “Duo of the Year” honors. In the video, real-life married duo Keifer and Shawna star as a spirited married couple living in the suburbs of the 1950s. The two young lovebirds shock their conservative (and nosy) next-door neighbors as Thompson Square’s scandalously flirtatious ways impact their – and their neighbors – everyday lives.

The location of “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About” will hold special meaning to country music fans. The video was shot on location at the final residence of late country legend Patsy Cline. The home, located in North Nashville, is famously known as “the house that Vegas built” due to its construction following Cline’s historic headlining shows at The Mint in Las Vegas. Now a private residence, the “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About” video marks the first time an artist has been allowed to shoot inside the homes’ walls, which still contains many of Cline’s personal decorating touches.

“Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About” is already a Top 40 hit at country radio and is the follow-up to Thompson Square’s GOLD certified, #1 smash “If I Didn’t Have You.” Both songs appear on Thompson Square’s new album, JUST FEELS GOOD.

ABOUT THOMPSON SQUARE:
One of Country music’s biggest breakout acts of the last 2 years, husband and wife duo Thompson Square pounded the pavement for 15 years in the music industry before landing a record deal with Benny Brown’s small independent label Stoney Creek Records. Since that day, has earned over 25 awards show nominations – including 2 GRAMMY as well as American Music Award and Teen Choice Award nods – and made music history when it was awarded awards from both the ACM and CMA for “Vocal Duo of the Year” in 2012. Thompson Square was awarded its second consecutive ACM Award for Vocal Duo of the Year in April 2013.

Thompson Square’s breakthrough hit “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not” has surpassed two million in sales, was the #1 Digital Soundscan Single for 5 weeks straight, the #1 Country Ringtone for 12 consecutive weeks and was iTunes 2011 Country Song of the Year. Follow-up hits include the award winning infectious, “I Got You,” (#6 and the 2012 CMT Music Awards’ “Duo Video of the Year”) and the critically-lauded power ballad, “Glass” (#15). The duo’s latest smash, the award-nominated #1 “If I Didn’t Have You,” was recently certified GOLD by the RIAA. The duo is currently touring with Luke Bryan on his Dirt Road Diaries Tour through October 2013.For more information, tour dates and all the “T2 goins on” visit: http://www.thompsonsquare.com
