DOUBLE DOSE OF PERFORMANCES FOLLOW A TRIFECTA OF POP-UP APPEARANCES AT THE GRAND OLE OPRY, STAGECOACH FESTIVAL, AND RYMAN AUDITORIUM BRINGS THE “BEACH BOYS” TO COUNTRY RADIO WITH SUMMER ANTHEM
Welcoming ABC’s Good Morning America to a “Beach Boys” state of mind, BBR Music Group/BMG’s Wheelhouse Records’ rowdy outliers LOCASH and The Beach Boys’ Mike Love and Bruce Johnston will make the national television premiere of the summer anthem on August 2. First performing LOCASH’s current single, they’ll bring even more sunshine to the studio with a second performance of The Beach Boys’ iconic “Kokomo” on GMA3: What You Need to Know.
Catching massive media attention with their supergroup surprises, LOCASH and The Beach Boys have made a trifecta of landmark appearances together after headline-making pop-ups at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Stagecoach Festival in Indio, CA – as spotted in Variety, Billboard, PEOPLE, USA TODAY, and more – and most recently Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry. The latter marked The Beach Boys’ long-awaited debut on the legendary stage to a SOLD-OUT audience, and can be viewed on Opry Live, as well as PEOPLE for an exclusive photo gallery.
With American Songwriter calling LOCASH a “need-to-know band in country music” who are “hitting homers and serving up first-class songs,” “Beach Boys” was named a Best Country Song of Summer 2022 by Country Now while E! News hails that it’s “making waves.” PEOPLE further applauds “country music’s iconic feel-good duo” and deems “the good times are finally around the corner” thanks to the “sunny-side-up song.” Likewise, MusicRow praises that they’ve “tapped into a good vibration,” as “Beach Boys” currently sails at Country radio, while tallying 4.56 MILLION global streams to date.
Riding high through the fall on their Woods & Water Tour, LOCASH has headliner stops stacked with major music festival appearances all over the world, including Watershed Festival (George, WA), The Long Road Festival (Lutterworth, UK), and CountryFest Cancun (Riviera Maya, Mexico), among others. Also returning to the Grand Ole Opry on Sunday (7/24), find a full list of show stops here.
