Nashville, TN (September 29, 2009)– Freewill Films, in association with Picture Vision Pictures, created the music video for Stoney Creek Records' Ash Bowers debut single “Stuck.” The video will debut on CMT Pure on September 29 and can be viewed on CMT.com. Bower's youthful spirit makes the song's video, shot in part on a helipad atop a 28-story building in downtown L.A., a shout-out to blue-collar dreamers everywhere.
Directed by Curt Apanovich, produced by William Shockley, David Bennett and executive produced by John Small of Picture Visions, the video was shot in two-days from three different locations in Southern California. The video shoot was almost cut short due to a powerful windstorm in the desert with a result of two tents being destroyed. The crew was almost “stuck,” but pulled it together and completed the scene.
Destined to become an anthem for all Americans who dream beyond their current situations, “Stuck” is at #50 on both country radio charts. Jeff Kurtis from Today's Country Magazine reviewed the single and concurred by saying, “We have all been here before and most of the blue-collar, country music listeners are there right now, making this a perfect anthem for them. The rock laced guitars are everything that the current landscape of country music is about and with the crisp voice Bowers presents and a lyric like this one, 'Stuck' will surely hit home for plenty of the everyday folks that hear it.”
“Stuck” was written by Billy Montana and Frank Myers and produced by Buddy Cannon. Bower's debut album is due out nationwide first quarter of 2010.
