Grand Ole Opry Debut Set For November 26th

Nashville, TN (November 17, 2010)–Stoney Creek Records dynamic duo, Thompson Square, have had a whirlwind month out on the road with country rocker Jason Aldean wrapping the last leg of the 2010 Wide Open Tour. As one dream is checked off the list, another dream is realized. The husband-and-wife duo’s much anticipated debut on the Grand Ole Opry has been set for November 26 at the historic Ryman Auditorium.
“We have had a blast on tour with Jason Aldean. It has been a dream come true to play in front of so many amazing country fans,” explains Keifer Thompson. “We are sad to see the tour end, but we are so excited for what's coming up!”
Shawna Thompson adds, “Keifer is 100 percent correct, being on tour with Jason really has been a dream come true and now getting to debut on the Grand Ole Opry, well, we are just pinching ourselves. We are both thrilled beyond words for our Opry debut!”
In addition to the crazy touring schedule and their upcoming Opry debut,the husband-and-wife duo have been working hard in the studio to complete their Stoney Creek Records album debut, set for release on February 8, 2011. The current single, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” has been climbing up the country radio charts and has already reached #32 on MediaBase. The single is hitting its stride with digital sales exploding– over 10,000 downloads per week.
“We have had a great year so far! As the holidays approach, we have many blessings to be thankful for and believe me, we are not taking any of those for granted,” says Keifer Thompson.
