New Single, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” Impacting Radio Now

Nashville, TN (July 15, 2010)– Starting today, Thursday, July 15, fans will have the chance to get a closer look into the home life of the Stoney Creek’s husband-and-wife duo, Thompson Square, by logging on to CountryWeekly.com.

Six weekly installments of Thompson Square’s webisode series, “Married To the Music,” will be featured on the popular magazine’s website bringing fans an uncut dose of the “real stuff” that makes up Keifer and Shawna Thompson. From the dirty laundry, to the abode, to guitars and bikinis, the entertaining series will uncover the pressures of married life with a career choice that demands near-constant togetherness.

“A lot of couples can’t be together 24 hours a day—but for us it doesn’t work unless it’s like that,” Keifer Thompson points out. “So it’s perfect. Singing together just completed the puzzle.”

Another big piece of the puzzle for the dynamic duo is their new single just released to country radio. “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” the 3rd most added record of the week, is the brand new single from Thompson Square. Written by David Lee Murphy and Jim Collins, the new single is a playful chronology of a relationship from dating to marriage. Radio stations across the country are falling in love with the song. KTEX’s JoJo Cerda talked about how much he was “diggin’ it” and went on to say, “Patches’ head was bobbing so hard, I thought it was going to fall off his neck!” Matt Bjorke of Roughstock.com referred to the new single as a “no-brainer,” concluding the new single is “the kind of hit that any artist, new or established would cherish to have in their arsenal.”

Thompson Square have wrapped up a 16-week nationwide radio tour in support of their new single. They have recently had a featured download in the current People Country Magazine and have performed and interviewed on Better TV. Fans can catch a live performance in Bristow, VA at Jiffy Lube Live as part of Brooks & Dunn’s Last Rodeo Tour on August 1.
