First Artist Featured in New College Football Series
Grand Ole Opry Induction Set for 9/18; Teaming Up With Cole Swindell This Fall
PLATINUM selling Broken Bow Records country star DUSTIN LYNCH will become the first artist spotlighted on CMT Hot 20 Countdown’s new multi-platform expansion series COUNTRY ON CAMPUS, premiering this Saturday (9/15) at 9am ET/PT.
Hosted by veteran sports journalist Bonnie Bernstein (ESPN, CBS) and showcasing country artists’ passion for college football, the new series follows a different star each week starting with Lynch – a Tullahoma, Tennessee, native who bleeds blue and orange in honor of the University of Florida Gators.
The series premiere follows Lynch as he attends the Gators’ first home game of the season, getting a behind the scenes look at where his loyalty comes from – and a special on-field surprise. Lynch’s segment features Gator greats Steve Spurrier, Tim Tebow and Cris Collinsworth, and will launch exclusively on CMT Hot 20 Countdown with extended cuts available on CMT.com and across Hot 20’s digital platforms.
Lynch’s hip-swaying new single “GOOD GIRL” is currently making its way up the charts, with its Bonnie & Clyde-inspired video out now. On September 18, the hitmaker will become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry, and he’ll team up with Cole Swindell on the REASON TO DRINK…ANOTHER TOUR alongside special guest Lauren Alaina beginning October 4 (10/4) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
