JOE NICHOLS TO GUEST STAR ON ABC’s NASHVILLE TONIGHT
PERFORMANCE OF “HARD TO BE COOL” PREMIERES ON ALL-NEW CMT HOT 20 COUNTDOWN FROM MURRAY STATE UNIVERSITY THIS WEEKEND
(Nashville, TN)~ Tonight, Country hit maker Joe Nichols will make a cameo on ABC’s Nashville when the show recreates “country music’s biggest night” in the special star-studded CMA Awards episode airing on ABC at 10pm/ 9pm CST. Nichols is one of only three country acts slated to appear in tonight’s highly anticipated episode, which will also feature guest appearances by Trisha Yearwood and The Band Perry.
A CMA Award winner himself, Nichols will round out the week with a headlining performance of his latest hit “Hard To Be Cool” as part of the premiere of CMT HOT 20 COUNTDOWN at Murray State University, airing this Saturday, Nov. 22 at 11 am ET/PT and repeating on Sunday, Nov. 23 at 11 am ET/PT. The first of its kind, the CMT HOT 20 COUNTDOWN at Murray State University celebrates the college’s majority win in CMT’s “Hot Country College Town” sweepstakes, battling schools across the U.S. to prove it had the biggest country music fans.
In addition to Nichols, the exclusive lineup will feature rising star Chase Bryant and Big & Rich, with each act providing a rocking performance for the boisterous student body of Murray State University as HOT 20 hosts Cody Alan and Katie Cook emcee the special night.
